Direct answer: During the October 8 Version 2.2 maintenance, Raid [Nightmare] and [Hell] will use new Chaos Keys instead of Mystic Keys. The official notice changes how weekly rewards and boss-clear rewards are separated.
How do the new Raid rewards work?
- Up to two Chaos Keys will be provided each week, like Mystic Keys.
- The existing Boss Clear Reward becomes a separate Weekly Reward plus a Boss Clear Reward.
- The Weekly Reward includes Star Fragments, Mystic Tokens, SSR Magic Crystal Shards, and Element Spell Bead Selection Chests.
- The Weekly Reward can be obtained up to two times per week across Chaos Keys and Mystic Keys.
- Star Fragments from the Weekly Reward are capped at 1,000 per week regardless of difficulty.
- A Boss Clear Reward remains available each time a Chaos Key or Mystic Key is used.
Which difficulty should be used first?
The first two Reward Cubes determine the week's Weekly Reward quantities, and higher difficulties provide more. If you claim both Weekly Rewards at a lower difficulty, you cannot later receive the maximum quantities by using a Mystic Key at Abyss. Plan the order of your first two eligible rewards.
What should players do before Version 2.2?
Netmarble recommends using existing Mystic Keys before the update if you want to avoid the new two-claim Weekly Reward limit. After Version 2.2, an additional Chaos Key or Mystic Key after two Weekly Rewards grants only the Boss Clear Reward.
What temporary compensation is confirmed?
After Version 2.2, the Abyss Boss Clear Reward will include an extra 500 Star Fragments as an event reward through the Version 2.3 update. Mystic Tokens, SSR Magic Crystal Shards, and Element Spell Bead Selection Chests remain Weekly Reward items.
What is planned later?
Netmarble plans a pre-entry pop-up showing Weekly Rewards by difficulty and further improvements that could let additional Raid Entry Keys increase Weekly Reward claims. These are planned improvements, not current features.
